The corner applicator is used in conjunction with corner finishers (“angle heads”) to apply drywall finishing compound over taped inside and outside corners.
DEWALT corner applicators (also called a “angle boxes” or “hockey boxes”) feature precision machined components and a heavy gauge but lightweight aluminum housing that has been hard anodized for outstanding durability.
DEWALT corner applicators feature a premium quality urethane wiper seal that has been lab-tested to more than 100,000 cycles with no visible wear or leakage. They also have an oversized handle bracket that prevents the pressure plate from warping under load. A proprietary stainless steel bonding process reduces weight while maximizing the life of the dispensing cone.
